Family: James lives with his mother: Brenda, and younger sister: Jade.

Appearance: blonde and handsome.

Interests: the next thing that engrosses him.

James becomes totally preoccupied in whatever or whoever interests him at the time. People on the receiving end may regard this as selfish or at least self-obsessed. Is there something ‘wrong’ with James Kelly? His sister’s diagnosis is ‘bonkers’ so I’ll leave it there.

The ‘original’ James was a 10-year old lad that I used to teach. His mother brought him to me to learn piano but we ended up composing songs and then performing them to our imaginary audience with him as lead singer and me as the rest of the group. He was totally delightful and we had great fun. His so called ‘learning difficulties’ did not feature in our music making.
